During a rare quiet year for both Cat and Emma, Trafalgar Square Publishing reached out to them. They had heard that Cat wrote little instructions for the barns she helped do staff trainings at. They thought there was a need for an updated, comprehensive grooming and care book, and were Cat and Emma interested in writing one? Ignorant to the work and effort involved, they said sure! A year, many emails, phone calls, photo shoots and edits later, World Class Grooming for Horses was published. Cat and Emma were thrilled at the enthusiastic reception it achieved and were shocked when it hit #1 on Amazon for Horse Care books for months.
Soon after, they taught at Phillip Duttons Adult Camp, and realized that were was huge desire for people to increase the level of care of heir equine athletes. Soon after, World Class Grooming, LLC, was born. Cat and Emma have been thrilled at the number of people across the country who want to up their game, to take better care of their equine athletes, and to deepen their knowledge and understanding of their partners. They always say, the moment you stop learning about horses, is the moment you should hang up your boots.

Emma barely needs introduction. Head Groom for Olympian Phillip Dutton for over a decade, Emma oversaw his elite horses in 4 Olympics, 4 World Equestrian Games and 2 Pan American games, in addition to countless horse trials, events and three-day events. During her tenure there she taught numerous top riders the ways of horse management, care, and devotion to the sport and the horses. Emma grew up in North Devon England and was brought up in the hunt field with her dad as Master of the Foxhounds. Emma was raised surrounded by horses. She grew up in the Pony Club system, receiving her “B” designation before going on to college to get her Baccalaureate in Science at the University of Wales. Moving to the States to pursue horses, she moved from strength to strength and is currently sought after groom, clinician, and educator.
Cat Hill grew up on a farm surrounded by animals and new from an early age that horses were where her heart was. She went through the 4H system, winning state championships at Horse Bowl, and competing in Hippology, Public Presentations through the state level as well. She has worked in many corners of the horse world, from Arabians as a youth, to hunters in college, to dude ranch and summer camp leaders! She managed Olympian Mara DePuy's barn, through Mara she met Emma and learned the intricacies of managing an elite program. She worked as a vet tech for top Sports Medicine Veterinarian Dr. Kevin Keane. Currently she is a free-lance groom, farm manager and popular clinician and educator.
